Just because I thought it was a bit funny:
Today I wrote up a cover letter, printed out a resume, headed into Michael's to apply. The cashier suggest I go to their job fair.
"Oh, there's a job fair, when's that?"
We both look to the sign she pointed to. ... Well, hell. Sign says July 4th, 12-5 pm... Yeah, bad timing being this: If I had be just a few hours earlier, I could've gotten an interview right on the spot. Gah! (First thing I say to mom when I get back in the Jeep -- 'They had a freakin' JOB FAIR today!!!') I still handed in my cover letter/resume.
On the bright side: Job fair basically means they're looking to hire, so who knows?
(On that note, I also applied to the coffee shop across the street.... They're not looking to hire till fall... Damn.)

Good news today, I got accepted to ACAD :D Email, can't wait for the stuff to come in the mail. Really can't say I can make a particularly long journal out of this but I decided that it was noteworthy, so here I'm writing about it. I'll be starting in September and can't wait. Yay! :D
New Account
Just switched from mirika-san (https://www.deviantart.com/mirika-san) to this account, which I created a while ago but never used, cause I was getting tired of my old username. I've been contemplating it for a while, but never really got around to it. Mainly because I didn't want to re-watch a bunch of people, but now I've decided not to be so lazy. I'll still visit my old account every now and again, but I'll really only be checking messages, anything else will be done in this account now.
Now to finish something so I can update my avatar :D
